Day 9: "Dryden"

This looked perfectly well-balanced while I was editing it, but now that it's posted, it looks like it needs to oonch a little bit to the left.  Oh well.  Maybe someday I'll fix that.  As long as I don't look at it, it won't bother me!

  1. Nice lighting, but you should get a smooth posterboard for a background for things like this to show off your subject to its best.

    1. Yes, that's on my list for the weekend, if I can fit it in. I didn't really mind the wrinkles in this photo, except to the left where it looks blown out, but isn't. Thank you for the "nice lighting" comment. That has always been a huge downfall (among others) for me. I'm experimenting with it, now that I actually have some lights.

  2. I do like the wrinkles, except for that one deep vertical line on the left. Very pretty pots! I had to google "Dryden". :)

  4. I had no idea anyone would care what Dryden is! LOL! I added some URLs at the top if anyone else is interested. It's a pottery shop in Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA. The two smaller pieces are "oops" vases, where the glaze dripped wrong. I don't mind that at all. Adds character and uniqueness.

  5. Hand made, you always want the ones with the imperfections, that does make them one of a kind!
